Thanks for checking out our project
Recently, our town of Grandview was given the name of "Tree City - USA". As a biology class, we thought we would see how many different tree species we could find in the city limits of Grandview. During the month of April, Mr. Johnson took pictures of over 50 trees. Some of the trees were still dormant so they were not part of the project. Each student from two Biology classes was assigned a tree to research.
He made our project even more challenging by giving each one of us a few pictures of the tree and then we were asked to identify the tree species and write a brief description of the tree. Lastly, we had the daunting task of doing some detective work to try and find the exact location of the tree from our pictures. It was a challenging project, but we had fun doing it. We hope you enjoy it too!!!
