My Weekend

By Cooper M.

Over the weekend, I had lots of fun. On Friday, I stayed home with my Mom. I could have gone to a boxing tournament, but I was out of shape and didn’t want to get beat up. It was a non-sanctioned tournament which means it is a fight where you don’t need a book or to be registered. My brother and all my cousins went to it.

On Saturday, I went with my Mom to see her boyfriend in jail. He got put in jail for driving while his license was suspended. We ate breakfast at a restaurant in Ellensburg. After that, we had a tune-up done on the van.

My Mom took me to White Swan.

My motorcycle was broke. The clutch cable broke on it, so I cut off the rubber around the cable and tied a knot in the end. I stuck it in the handle. I took out the spark plugs and cleaned them. After that, I changed the oil. It started right up and it was running good. By then it was dark.

On Sunday, I raced the neighbor on our motorcycles. I finally beat him. He has a 180cc Yamaha. It is little, but goes fast. My motorcycle is a 185cc, but it doesn’t start out fast.

Then, my Mom showed up, and I went home.
