You never think about death

Till someone you love takes their last breath.

You feel so sad when they die.

Leaving without saying goodbye.

When that person dies, you feel a great sorrow,

Knowing that they will never see the light of tomorrow.

They die leaving their family and friends

With no one to comprehend.

You see them in their tomb

Knowing they will never be in a room.

You’ll never see them roam,

Or scare them in an awful storm.

Their laugh, you will never hear.

You think you hear their voice whisper in your ear.

You can’t get over your fears

You just shed and shed tears.

You never think about death

Till someone you love takes their last breath.
