Taz’s Texas Tornado

by Ricky P.

When we got to Six Flags, we were among the first people there. My brother-in-law said that we had to ride Taz’s Texas Tornado (A new ride that Six Flags added during the summer). We had a map of the park that was hard to read. The park had sections and Taz’z Texas Tornado was in the Mexican section.

The Mexican section had a bunch of Mexican stuff like hats, clothes, and food. There were also Colonial, Chinese, and European sections.

When we got to the ride, the line was small. We got in line and waited. It was hot in Houston, that day. While in line, I noticed a crisp coolness to the air that refreshed me and hit my dry skin like rain in Death Valley. We looked up and saw that it was a little sprinkler on a pole that was refreshing us.

When we got to the shed, there was another line. I was frustrated, but I waited in line.

After a while, we finally got in. We had the first four seats. The first loop was awesome. The second was huge. On the next loop, my sister ate a fly. The fourth loop went around twice, passing within two inches of the ground. A couple of more loops and the ride was over.
