You heard my silent screams.

You were there to create a new dream.

You took the pain away,

And kept me looking forward to the next day.

Without a word, you calmed my fears.

With a simple kiss you stopped the tears.

You brought the smile back to my face.

You came and put broken pieces back into place.

You healed a broken heart

That was once torn apart.

All the bad times you erased.

My hopes you’ve replaced.

You came and stole my heart by surprise.

You brought the light back to my eyes.

I love your hands that hold me all night.

I love your lips that tell me everything is going to be alright.
